“FACES OF TRAVEL”

The images were captured during and along side the shooting of the Delta airlines tv commercial . Images were used in the commercial, “FACES OF TRAVEL” in Cape Town South Africa . I was commissioned to create an authentic family picture album along with a look and feel for the imagery to appear from the 70 s and 90s . I used my Pentax 6x7 analogue camera and fuji 120 film.to achieve these results .

A diverse cast of talent was part of the strategy Faces Of Travel is Delta Air Lines’ to increase representation and visibility within travel culture. The initiative is an  showing people of diverse races, ages, sexual orientations, gender identities, religious beliefs, and physical abilities of today's travelers.

It is always a pleasure to capture moments that feel real , part of that comes with using such a diverse cast, these moments are created by not forcing the image to feel staged and. great cast truly plays Its part.

along with great narrative direction encourages the talent to be absorbed into the moment translating into authentic lifestyle moments .
